Our wearable designs show off the beauty that exists within humble scraps of wood - either recycled from our local urban lumber mill or gathered off the forest floor. Lapidary artists cut, shape and polish up the very best pieces of stone slabs. We take inspiration in that process and instead break down small chunks of wood, selecting just the right features from each piece. We love playing around with the symmetry of book match cuts and can absolutely guarantee each piece truly is one-of-a-kind. We put our stamp on the wide variety of handmade, hand-forged metal elements in our work. We work with sterling silver and base metals using both cold and soldered connections, always sure to give a sturdy mechanical connection between the wood and metal components. We carry a variety of ready-to-ship pieces and also have a Create Your Own section which allows you to customize some of our most popular items. Simply pick which piece of wood speaks to you the most and choose from a variety of metal choices, then we complete the order and ship it to you within a few weeks. Below is a gallery of some of our favorite signature and custom designs we’ve done throughout the years.

In our collection of housewares and functional sculpture, rather than trying to make a large amount of very similar items as many makers do,, each of our pieces is unique and inspired by the wood we choose to use, much like the way we approach our wearables. We seek to combine wood and metal in ways that are both functional and decorative and show off the best features of the wood we use. As with everything else we do, each piece truly is a unique work of art that you can use, enjoy and interact with on a daily basis. We take great pride in finding ways to make original art that serves a purpose and will be cherished for years to come. We’ve been able to complete some really creative projects that and even use wood we have been given that is special to our clients.
